Chapter 695: Final -
Chapter 695: Final -
The voice sounded like many people speaking at the same time.
Male and female voices overlapped, along with children and adults of different ages.
Each tone blended into the other, forming something unstable and unnatural, like countless lives were trapped inside a single sound.
"Oh, so you finally decided to say something. I was starting to think you were ignoring me on purpose."
(Answer my question. Why do you keep resisting? You tried over and over again, and even if you’re stronger now, the same thing will happen.)
The Void’s voice pressed in again.
(You will fail like before.)
Reign let out a small chuckle.
"Don’t flatter yourself too much. The one who failed countless times was that idiot. Not me."
"I’m different. And better in every way."
The Void stayed silent for a moment.
Its pressure spread through space. It tried to push into Reign’s mind again, forcing the same question .
(You are still the same in my eyes.)
(Only shaped differently.)
Reign’s grip tightened.
The darkness around his fingers twisted as the Void struggled, but it did not break free.
"You keep talking like you know me."
Space around them folded inward, like the universe was trying to listen.
(Every version of you is more powerful.)
(Every version of you chose resistance.)
(And every version failed.)
"You really have bad ears." His tone carried a faint of irritation. "I already told you. I’m not him."
"How about you? Why are you doing this? Why do you keep chasing irregularities?"
(I... I don’t have a reason. I just do it because it was the natural thing to do.)
"What a boring answer. You might as well kill yourself to end your pathetic existence."
It didn’t answer.
"I’ll take that as a yes, so let me help you."
The Void roared, its voice shaking all of creation.
It was now putting its final attempt to expand and break Reign’s grip. For a moment, it worked. It forced his palm open.
But just as it thought it could escape, Reign grew larger again and used both hands to pin it down in the middle.
The Void raised its many hands, trying to stop itself from being pressed down.
"See, this is what true power looks like. You kept chasing irregularities because you have no choice and you’re bound by your duty. As for me, I simply want to crush you like a bug. Power is freedom to do what I want."
(Even if you erase me, the universe will find its way to destroy an anomaly like you.)
"You think I’m afraid of that? Hell, I want it to try so I can have fun destroying everything it throws my way.
Right now, there’s really nothing left to challenge me anymore, so I’m a little bit hesitant to kill you. How about it? Do you want me to free you so you can try again?"
(ARGGGGG!)
It roared powerfully, but in Reign’s perspective, it was nothing more than the final cry of an entity that refused to surrender.
He slowly began to close his hand completely.
The endless darkness compacted further and further, shrinking violently as if the universe was being folded into a single point of will.
Reign’s aura rose one final time, spreading across infinity like a decree.
His presence was so overwhelming that the Void could do nothing against it.
Not resist.
Not struggle.
Not even react.
It simply... ceased to matter in his presence.
Reign was no longer within existence.
Existence feared him.
"I alone am absolute..."
CRACK!
The Void was completely erased—dissolved from every layer of reality, as if it had never existed on the first place.
Reign frowned slightly. "...That’s it?"
The question did not carry desperation. It carried expectation that had nowhere to go.
He waited a little longer.
Seconds stretched.
Then longer.
Nothing answered.
His aura flickered once, as if reacting to a reflex that had nowhere to land. Then it settled again.
"So this is what it becomes..."
He lifted his gaze again.
The universe around him felt wider than before, but not in a meaningful way. It was just... space. Endless, silent, and unwilling to challenge him.
Reign turned slightly in place, slowly scanning everything again.
No presence.
No pressure.
No familiar sense of danger waiting behind a fold in reality.
Only remnants of what had already been destroyed.
He let his aura recede further.
The weight he carried dropped from the surrounding space, and reality responded by trying to repair itself.
Distorted regions slowly smoothed out. Broken gravitational fields stabilized. The chaos he created began to settle without resistance.
It was automatic.
Like the universe was rebuilding itself now that it no longer anything to challenged him.
’When you become the strongest... there is nothing left to conquer.’

To all my readers,
Thank you for staying with this story until the very end.
It means a lot more than I can properly put into words.
The journey here was not always smooth. There were ups and downs along the way—moments of inspiration, but also moments of delay, silence, and uncertainty.
Because of that, the ending took far longer than I originally planned.
But even after everything, I never really let go of this story.
There were still ways to continue it. More worlds could be added. More moments could stretch the ending further.
But dragging it longer would have changed what I first wanted it to be. The ending I planned would lose its weight if I kept forcing more into it.
So I chose to stop at the point I had already set. Not because there was nothing left to write, but because ending it there kept its meaning intact.
And now, it is finally complete.

The next Chapter is an after story. It’s not part of the main plot, but it gives a bit more closure if you read it.
If you’re going for 100% completion, it’s worth checking out.
Actually, it’s better if you don’t skip it—you might end up regretting it if you do.
